Chris Norton
External Relations Director at EHL and Vice President of the EHLITE Magazine Editorial Board
Chris Norton has been the Director of External Relations at the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) since April 2003. He is responsible for developing and implementing the School’s global marketing programme as well as managing EHL’s Alumni & Career Services Centre. Chris joined EHL in early 2001 as Head of Recruitment. Prior to joining EHL, he was Head of Student Services at the University Centre Cesar Ritz, in Brig, Switzerland. He also worked as Programme Director in the Leisure and Tourism department at New College, Durham University, UK. Before this, Chris enjoyed a successful career as a professional ice hockey player, initially drafted by the Winnipeg Jets and then spent time in the Chicago Blackhawks and Los Angeles Kings organizations as well as playing in Europe.
Chris, who is Canadian, holds an MBA from The Open University, UK and a BSc in Hotel Administration from Cornell University, USA.
